Norlin 70s and early 80s Guitar Tone

With these you will get plenty of energy, but the clarity and sparkly highs the 70s and 80s Les Pauls were known for.
Many great recordings were made with 70s and 80s Les Pauls, and they have a tone all of their own. By popular demand, I have made a guitar pickup set that is much more like the T-Tops and the Tim Shaw pickups. Maybe you have a Norlin era Les Paul that someone has replaced the pickups way back when, and now you would like a more period authentic tone. Or maybe you want that magic in your newer Les Paul? "I have T-Shaws in my R7 now, and man they are just what I was going for. Very much a mixture of T-Tops and Shaws. More powerful (louder) than I expected. I usually have to roll down the volume pots a tad. The bridge is thin and woody...and can get quite raunchy. The neck overdrives even with the treble full on, it can approach the woman tone thing. When played clean, you can hear your fingerprint ridges caress the strings!"
