A replacement Bridge pickup for Les Paul JP2 Owners!
While this guitar pickup can be used in any guitar, it was designed to meet a very specific need of certain Les Paul owners.
It has been said that sometime during 1959, Gibson got some slightly out of spec, undersized wire that caused many of the 59 P.A.F.s to have a higher ohm reading. And the smaller wire also required more winds to fill the bobbins.
Many 1959 Gibson humbuckers were hotter than normal, such is the case with Jimmy Page's number two. It is dirty, raunchy, not too thin, lots of body and bloom. It plays clean well, but overdrives like heaven, it has a very firm and tight feel and bottom end. Also comes with 4 conductor wiring to take full advantage of all the switching options on the JP2. Unique custom handwound P.A.F. pickup.
Definitely Led Zepplin 4 all over it, just listen to Black Dog ... Thats the one!!!! I don't think you could get any closer.

Yes, it even comes with a Patent Applied For sticker. Constructed with top quality parts, wound to perfection. Features period correct rough cast AlNiCo 5 magnet, awg 42 plain enamel coated coil wire, USA sized polescrews, German silver backing plates, wood spacer, and high quality steel slugs and keeper bar.
And lastly an unsoldered nickel cover (that will not be aged) for easy removal to get that famous open coil appearance.
